I love this game but HATE how small the view is. The narrow view makes managing units on a wide front unnecessarily difficult.

I enjoy RTS games for creating and executing plans, as well as planning maneuvers and the almost claustrophobic view inhibits doing this efficiently. This is particularly prevalent with orcas/firehawks/vertigos as it can be hard to know when they reload. having to frantically moving the camera around almost like a twitch shooter to just takes away from the strategy for me and induces unnecessary stress

Most of it just makes cordinatting attacks on multiple fronts really hard. So many times will one of my armies get splattered because i had to divert my attention elsewhere and it also takes just a bit too long to pan to desired locations.

the camera view is barely serviceable on small maps like tournament arena and coastline but just becomes untenable for me on larger maps like top gun

in short allowing a wider view would enable more cohesively and efficiently coordinating advanced maneuvers as well as giving more reactivity to your units thus making the game more dynamic tactically and also makes placing buildings while in combat easier as you wouldn’t have to travel as much

Because the general flow of the game, it is not logical nor fair to allow them on multiplayer.
First things first if these mods would be enabled, players would see every single thing on the map getting prepared due the already extremely slow FOW cleanup.

Bombers have an automatic bombardment technique, if you force fire the FOW, so you dont need to keep an eye on it.
Top Gun is also not a big map.

Secondly, the view is not small at all. Nowadays mapmakers are trying to scale the camera and the maps to be comfortable as possible. Plus in this game small groups of units can do significantly more damage than in any other RTS, huge camera levels would make this extremely easy to do.
Would be unfair for those who dosent use mods.

Because of this, raising down the gameplay skill ceiling because you just cant make it is a really bad excuse. Think of this like an auto-aim in FPS games.

IF you cant agree with this, it is always good to play Supreme Commander.
