This might be really surprising to bring it up here, but i think its an elephant in the room.
People with modern connections (or without public IPv4 addresses) cannot play online services for a really long time now.

It seemed that VPNs MIGHT solve this issue but to be fair after attempting several services/providers of VPN, unfortunately non of them are reliable as a stable connection, even if you have a network with quite decent speed.

There is a very weird bug with VPNs, where a fake connection gets involved, resulting in disappearing MCVs, and a Disconnection menu at the start of the game.

Another issue comes with that VPN solution that you cannot use Tunneling/Bypass in order to reduce the the pressure on your data limit of a free plan. Plus you cannot do anything else with your Internet while you play, ex. Streaming.
The main point is that nobody with a healthy mind is going to pay a couple of dollars monthly + plenty amount of time to tinker and get into VPN based server play where everybody is active only for a couple of hours per day.

Network play dosen’t have any limitations, only the Steam version needs a key generation for the game in order to make it work, which is available here:

Here comes a very simple question: Why we didn’t switch/use a more reliable method since 2014?

I just helped some one today on Linux.
To fix the Serial key is already in use in use all you need to do is edit the reg key

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath\ergc

than edit the value data %CDKEY% to any 20 digi number will work, example: QUPXTVNCXDAR8XDGURLD

      ———–

And last step is deleting script installscript.vdf

      SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer 3 - Kane's Wrath\installscript.vdf

Steam keeps recreating the %CDKEY% because of that installscript.
      Deleting it solve it.

This only affects Lan game, not online game through revora as far as i know.

Not just for Steam, but also for the EA app.

But you can add any key you like. It doesn’t have to be valid; just a 20-character line of your choice is sufficient for those who wanna play LAN.

Yes and the “GeneralPandaGenerator” is not gonna solve any issue regarding to online play. you still need a public IPv4 address, thats how the game and the game server is designed.
Maybe some day EA makes it open source but i doubt it.

No you don’t need any IPv4 address to play multiplayer, people are just being ignorant here.
Revora is just simply outdated for simple use. (No offense on the service, its an option but dude its 2026, peer-to-peer servers done for a while now.)
The only way that people could play the game without tech restrictions is LAN VPNs.
