Where do you have the game from?
By default the folder is located in

C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Roaming\Command & Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath\Maps

In some cases especially when you have the game from EA app its missing a registry key UseLocalUserMaps.
You will have to add this registry in

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath

can’t play map packs? what map pack?
where do you play online?
What error do you get?
Is it the dvd, steam or EA app version of the game ?
maybe some screenshots?

I just helped some one today on Linux.
To fix the Serial key is already in use in use all you need to do is edit the reg key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath\ergc

than edit the value data %CDKEY% to any 20 digi number will work, example: QUPXTVNCXDAR8XDGURLD

And last step is deleting script installscript.vdf

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Command and Conquer 3 - Kane's Wrath\installscript.vdf

Steam keeps recreating the %CDKEY% because of that installscript.
Deleting it solve it.

This only affects Lan game, not online game through revora as far as i know.

Do not use Network in multiplayer settings but use Online.
Do not use hamachi VPN thats for making a private network.
For CNC-online Tacitus you connect to the revora server.
You need a public IPV4 address in order to connect.

But you can also install the R23z files manually to your folder.

Its probably a compatibility issue if the desyncs happen within the first minute.
Because recently a new version of R23 was released.
In 30 minutes we release an update for the arcade mappack.
We just released R23z a few minutes ago.

If it desyncs happen after 10 minutes or more it’s probably caused by something else.
In that case i need more information on what map it happens and around what time desyncs occure.

But most likely its befcause some one else has a different R23 version that conflicts with F07 Arcade.
Update will be released soon, today.

Yes and the “GeneralPandaGenerator” is not gonna solve any issue regarding to online play. you still need a public IPv4 address, thats how the game and the game server is designed.
Maybe some day EA makes it open source but i doubt it.

Map transfer was broken for a while, but this has been resolved.
If you download the R23 mappack than this whon’t transfer to other players.
R23 is also a patch so all need to install it.

But you can add any key you like. It doesn’t have to be valid; just a 20-character line of your choice is sufficient for those who wanna play LAN.

You all should have the same R23 version as wel.
Anyway, within an hour a new update of Arcade will be released that fix any compatibility issues.
Anyway if you like to check if you have the same version as your friend goto your install folder

Check the file date of

102Scripts.big

If anyone has a different “date modified” it will cause desyncs
